They say “behind every successful man there is a strong woman.”  Such was the case with Bernhard and his wife Magdeline.  She was the first of many strong Glockner women who, upon the untimely death of her beloved husband, took the bull by the horns and with the help of her sons, Frank, Alex and Adolph, continued to run the family hardware business.
